A relatively new machine to the collection

• E4000 Chassis
• 4x CPU Cards
• 2x I/O Card
• 1x PCI Expansion Card – not yet working
• Sun Microsystems Solaris 8
• SCSI2SD – 8Gig card

So the first thing I had to do with this machine was to do the NVRAM battery hacks on no less than 8 boards.

I then had to replace 1 failed and another failing power supply.

I have mounted the SCSI2SD where the tape drive would normally sit. This I think is better than external disk packs or wasting a slot with the disk card.
