One of the oddities in my collection is the Sun 386i (aka Roadrunner). Running SunOS 4.0.1 and SunView. The system is capable of running DOS applications in individual terminal windows.
- Sun 386i Chassis with CG card and associated Keyboard/Mouse.
- SCSI2SD Drive
- 3x 8MB Memory boards – total 24MB (Yes this does work despite it not being supported)
- 2x INMOS B008 Transputer
The two B008 ISA Cards are populated with Transputer modules called TRAM’s. Each B008 is passed through to the DOS Emulator under SunView.
I am yet to get native SunOS communication working to the B008’s.
